Hearts for Ghana Mission is a registered Nonprofit (501c3) in the USA and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ghana, with a vision to transform the lives of disadvantaged children by imbibing in them teachings of the word of God as well as equipping them with economic empowerment tools
Hearts for Ghana Mission has been reaching out and ministering to homeless children in the streets of Ghana for the past eight years. These children are devastated by poverty, disease, and neglect. They live sleep and die in the streets. They are hungry for food, shelter and the Gospel of Christ.
The Problem: Thousands of children are born, raised and live out their lives on the streets. From birth, all that these children know is hard labor, empty stomachs, ignorance and abuse. They are trapped by their circumstances and are considered unreachable, untouchable and unlovable.
The goal of Hearts for Ghana Mission is to reach these unreachable; touch these untouchable; and love these unlovable in the name of Jesus Christ.

Impact Stories
From helplessness and hopelessness to a future and a hope
This is a written testimony by one of our young ladies who is aging out of the Home. In the story we have changed her name and purposefully not shown her face to protect her identity.
My name is Akuea. I am 18. I was a former street child who has been transformed into a new vision by the help of Hearts for Ghana Mission. All thanks to Pastor Della and his humble team for being a conduit for God to do such a marvelous transformation in my life. And all glory goes to God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I was the third child of a single mother of 5 children. At age 9 we were homeless. I never knew my father. My mother sold items in the market but, because we had no home we all slept on the pavements around the market. Looking at the situation, there was no hope coming – no love, no care, just taking care of myself. So, at the age of 12, I engaged in prostitution just to earn some money for myself because my dream was to be educated and become a midwife. So I enrolled myself into a school.
He Was Left Alone In The Streets To Fend For Himself
One day last fall, the women of the market and some of the street boys began to tell us about Kwesi J. We learned that a very young little boy was abandoned near the market and had been living there for about six months. Kwesi was only two years old when he began to live on the streets.
Left alone he slept hiding under the tables in the market. He begged and worked for food, but throughout this time he was always hungry and very fearful. He was barely 3 years old when Hearts for Ghana Mission discovered him. We immediately befriended him and began working with authorities so we could bring this scared little boy under our protection and provision…
