Akosombo Shelter Home

Heart for Ghana Mission Children’s Home (Transitional Home) began in 2015 with 7 children, offering a safe haven for former street and disadvantaged children. Today, the home cares for 20 children. These former street children now have a place they call HOME!!! They have house parents, eat three healthy meals and snacks a day, and they are making friends in the neighborhood. They attend public schools, and receive both spiritual and physical support. Several of our children have graduated from high schools and successfully transitioned into universities and colleges, fulfilling the vision of restoring hope and building the Kingdom of God.
