Friends, I am writing to you with a heavy heart, HFGM is seeking your support and assistance for the communities around us and our children in remote villages who have recently suffered from the devastating effects of a severe flooding. Your prayers and generosity can make a significant difference in their lives during this challenging time.
Although HFGM Home has not been directly affected but surrounding communities and villages we are reaching have been greatly affected.
The flood has caused extensive damage to the properties and homes of many of our neighbors. The floodwaters, driven by heavy rains and rising water levels from the Akosombo Dam, swept through the area, leaving behind a trail of destruction and despair.
Families have been displaced, homes have been destroyed, and many people have lost their personal belongings and livelihoods. The impact of this flood is immeasurable, and the affected individuals and families are now facing an uphill battle to rebuild their lives.
