He Was Left Alone In The Streets To Fend For Himself, But His Hopelessness Was Turned To Joy!
One day last fall, the women of the market and some of the street boys began to tell us about Kwesi J. We learned that a very young little boy was abandoned near the market and had been living there for about six months. Kwesi was only two years old when he began to live on the streets. Left alone he slept hiding under the tables in the market. He begged and worked for food, but throughout this time he was always hungry and very fearful. He was barely 3 years old when Hearts for Ghana Mission discovered him. We immediately befriended him and began working with authorities so we could bring this scared little boy under our protection and provision.
Kwesi was a perfect for candidate for child traffickers.
Out of fear for Kwesi’s life, one of our big street boys brought him to our meeting place which is near the market.
The HFGM team looked for his parents, but we were without success. The Ghana Department of Social Welfare was contacted concerning Kwesi’s situation. We are happy to report that we were able to place him in our HFGM home!
Yes, only a few days before Christmas 2020, Kwesi was given a safe and secure place to live.
Thanks to you, we were able to give Kwesi the perfect Christmas gift!!!
